Isn’t it a great news that Contentder has its own Media Management? This makes organizing and maintaining all the media files so much easier. So, what is media management? To simply state, it is a centralized repository for media which has been developed in order to reuse the media across numerous components in Contentder. What kind of media does it include you may ask? Well, anything from documents, images to videos can be easily managed with this module.

For this blog, we’ll focus more on the images and the exciting editor tools that are available in Media Management that will make your image perfect to upload on your site straight away. Media Management window pops open as soon as you drag the image component onto a page. Once you select your desired image, click on the editor icon to work with the editor tools.

Some of the Media Management features include:

·         Editing Region: A huge section is available where you can work on editing the image.

·         Preview: A small section that displays the editing result is displayed at the right side of the editing region.

·         Aspect Ratio: 4 standard aspect ratios are available to select for your image. If not this, then select Free option and then crop the image manually as per your need.

·         Image Adjustments: All the basic adjustments for the image like zoom, rotations, flips and shifts are present to adjust the image. You can also undo your action from here.

The main advantage of this module is that it is easier to integrate Media Management API in your project easily. Also, all the JavaScript files and Stylesheets required to run Media Management are managed internally by the library.
